So...

We are back in Canada now. We got back after a thirteen hour drive. We watched movies, listened to my mom read and we listened to music. I went to my friend's house in Utah and we had fun. We got some crazy pictures of Lander. On the was back we stopped in Idaho and spent the night at a friend's house. We had fun, and we stayed up very late.
Oh yeah. Lander got braces and I get them this Friday. We made sure to get before pictures, so after I get braces we will get after pictures so we will have before and after pictures. I will try to put a picture of me on here with braces.
When we left my cousin's house to go home, we decided to go to costco quickly to get some stuff. While we were there my cousin called us. He told us my dad forgot his suit. Then five minutes after he hang up, he called back and said there were more forgotten things so we had to go back. When we went back I searched under the couches just in case we had forgotten more things. I found my dad's belt. And then after we said goodbye once again to our cousins, and we left to leave again, my cousin called and said we forgott more stuff. But we said, "We will come get it another time." because we were almost halfway to where we were going to spend the night. And so we got to my friend's house very late, when we were hoping to get there by 7:30pm.
So that is basically what has happened. Good bye!

Hey you!

I am in Utah right now. My cousins are at school and I am going shopping soon. On the way here to Utah we stopped at my friend's house to spend the night. I hadn't seen her since I was seven or something like that. So now I am on my dad's laptop. That reminds me of a story and I will tell it to you.

The story of the laptops (a true story)

One time my dad was flicking coins in different directions. Then he hit his laptop's screen and cracked the screen. And so that laptop died.

(I witnessed this) Another time there was a tickle me elmo toy sitting at the top of the stairs and my dad, holding his laptop in front of him, did not notice the elmo and tripped over elmo and fell down the stairs, laptop included. And so that laptop died.

And I don't know how but I think my dad broke another laptop somehow. The laptops still work but the screen are dead so we have hooked them to other screens.

Yesterday we went skiing from 9:00am-4:30pm. It was so fun and I didn't crash once! I only slipped a few times. In one of the places it was so snowy that I could only see my cousins bright jackets in front of me and everything else except the rock of the moutian was white. To the right there was a thing that is kind of like a cliff and a couldn't see the edge of it. It was kinda scary.

So that is some of what I have done. I gotta go now because we are going shopping. BYE!

What we are going to do

Tomorrow we are going to Utah in the morning. We will drive for like a billion years. (exaggerating of course) but it will take a long time. I am staying there for a week with my cousins and we are going skiing! It will be fun. I will say what happened when I come back.

Then, a day or two after we come back, Lander get's braces! Then, about four days after that I get braces! :( So it is good by Carmel for me! :(

So that is basically our plans for this month. It is going to be so fun! But I'm missing a party... :(

Anyway, happy Valentines day!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately... I have no excuses since the Christmas holidays are over!
Just so you know... You probably already know this though... I have no idea what to write so I'll just write it!
Creating stories is just like drawing and imagining up a picture. When you start a story it is just like starting on an empty page. First you imagine the scene...
I will start with a sandy beach with a gentle smooth ocean next to it. Many towering palm trees with green coconuts stand tall and straight on the sand.
Then create character(s)...
I choose and explorer lying on the beach, studying a leaf on the tree.
Now I have a scene, so now I need a story.
To make an imaginative story I ask myself a question, like:
What would happen if it rained cats and dogs?
Or
What would happen if I bought a computer game and it sucked me into it and I had to find a way out of it?
And stuff like that.
Thank you for coming to my writing class today even though you probably didn't learn anything.
